Shadow Rush

Description

Shadow Rush is a racing game about running from your past. As we all know too well the past will inevitably come back to haunt you. Shadow rush presents a racing game where you race across multiple tracks whilst your former self comes after you. Try to evade the ghosts as long as you can and set the best records!

About us

We are a team of three friends from the Netherlands who love making games and programming. We wanted to make as much of the game on our own as we could. Just how much we did you can see below.

About our game

- Built with Unity

- All textures are fully custom made

- All sound effects are custom made, however the songs heard when racing and on the menu are:

    - Karl Casey @ White Bat Audio - Rain City
    - z3r0 - 8but Syndrome   

- We made a custom map editor and it is available here. Try your own maps or join our Discord to share your best maps and times on them! Just take the text in the text area and paste it in the custom level import in the game

Controls

RightTrigger or Up arrow for gas

LeftTrigger or Down for break

Left Analog stick and Left/Right Arrows for steering

A button and LeftShift to Dash

X button and Spacebar to break/drift

• Controller support for pause/start menus fixed
•  Added WebGL build
• Custom Level fixed such that it does not save high score for different levels anymore
• Fixed a bug where pause screen could go over death screen
• Fixed a bug where opening the start screen during timer countdown would already start the level
• Changed sound levels such that the sounds are less annoying
• Fixed a bug where driving no laps would result in MaxLong value high scores
• Fixed weird behaviour of the tutorial level where sometimes the death screen would not show up
• Fixed wrong text showing on some level intros
